Total ADHC Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Amanda Graham Sillars, MSW, LCSW. As Adult Day Services grew, so did the need for education and information to help centers not only survive, but to thrive in what can be a very complicated industry. TADHCS answers that call through our consulting services and product line. We are the national leader in providing Adult Day centers with the tools for success.
Utilizing our extensive understanding and knowledge of not only the Adult Day Services industry specifically, but the geriatric health model as well, our team of professionals has created a unique line of services, products and training programs to answer the needs of the Adult Day Services community. We are proud to state that we have helped over 700 Adult Day Health and Adult Day Care centers, both nationally and globally, to open and continue to run successfully. We are continually growing and expanding our programs, services and products to remain current and support the Adult Day Service industry.
We provide extensive training for all our staff; from office personnel to consultants. This training includes comprehensive instruction in Adult Day Health and the Adult Day Social models. Our Staff of professional consultants have all worked in an Adult Day Services setting prior to working with your company, and they bring this first-hand knowledge to you.
Because we have been in the field for so long, and are involved with so many centers on an ongoing basis, we can provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding current trends of Adult Day Services on both a National and State level, and this knowledge is priceless.
We understand the difficulties inherent in trying to run a center, answer to your state’s regulatory agencies and make a profit all at the same time. We provide invaluable assistance in the areas you need to ensure that your center not only survives, but prospers.
The CEO and Founder of the largest and most successful Adult Day Services Consulting Firm and product line company in the Nation, Amanda’s knowledge and understanding of Adult Day Services in our country is unparalleled. Amanda states; “Adult Day Services is all we do”, referring to her company, Total ADHC Solutions. Because of the exclusivity of their target market, and the level of expertise of “Total’s” employees and consultants (over 20 nationally), they can support all types of centers through direct consulting, or targeted manuals from their vast updated & current product line. Amanda’s expertise lies in developing effective systems of care provision and staff engagement based on current trends and regulatory requirements in the most efficient manner possible. This supports the significant success of a center, for both the owners and the participants.
Amanda’s advocacy and passion for each center with whom she works, and the industry as a whole, can be traced back to her advanced social work degree with a geriatric emphasis, and her experience in working in a nursing home. “No one, if it can be helped, should end their days in a nursing home.” After working for one day in an ADHC center and learning about the industry’s commitment to avoiding institutionalization in 1997, Amanda was hooked for life. Her passion for this industry is evident; she currently serves as a board member of NADSA, a past President’s Appointee to the California Association of Adult Day Services and can boast a more than 20- year exclusive commitment to this industry. With no fear in speaking truth to power, Amanda has not backed down from her belief that Adult Day Services are the most economical and humanistic way to support the elderly and disabled in our country and is working persistently to ensure that Medicare becomes a payer source for Adult Day Services.
Amanda’s education and employment history within the geriatric health care industry is vast, including experience in nursing homes, hospice, home health and acute care hospital settings as both a social worker and consultant. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a geriatric emphasis and holds a license as a clinical social worker in California. She currently serves on the board of directors for the National Adult Day Service Association, is a member of the California Association for Adult Day Services , as a past president’s appointee, and the National Association of Social Workers. Amanda is the author of multiple books and manuals developed to serve the Adult Day Services industry, has been interviewed for national television and writes an informative and educational blog.
